Nigeria records 284 cases of COVID-19 as total hits 6677

The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) on Wednesday night, announced 284 new cases of COVID-19 in the country.

NCDC made the confirmation in a post on its official Twitter handle.

Lagos recorded the highest number with 199 cases, Rivers State had 26 and Oyo recorded 19.

It brings the total number of confirmed cases to 6677.

The NCDC tweeted: “284 new cases of #COVID19;

199-Lagos, 26-Rivers, 19-Oyo, 8-FCT, 8-Borno

7-Plateau, 6-Jigawa, 5-Kano, 2-Abia, 1-Ekiti

1-Delta, 1-Kwara and 1-Taraba State.

“Discharged: 1840.Deaths: 200”
